Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: October 2026

We at Shira Eshel – UI/UX & Web Design believe that the internet should be available, convenient, and accessible to the general public, including people with disabilities. Therefore, we have invested considerable effort and resources in making this website accessible, out of a commitment to promote equal rights and transparency.

This statement details the adjustments made on the website in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and its regulations, and in accordance with the international guidelines of the W3C organization (WCAG 2.1 standard at AA level).

1. Accessibility Features on the Site

The website was built with accessible and inclusive User Experience (UX) in mind, and includes, among others, the following adjustments:

  • Accessibility Menu / Toolbar: An accessibility widget is installed on the site, allowing control over font size, changing contrast (high contrast / inverted colors), highlighting links, and pausing animations.

  • Keyboard Navigation: The website is adapted for browsing using a keyboard. You can navigate between clickable elements on the site using the Tab key, and move backward using Shift+Tab. Activating elements is done using the Enter key.

  • Screen Reader Compatibility: The website is adapted for use with modern screen reader software (such as NVDA and JAWS). Forms, links, and buttons have been assigned ARIA tags and a proper semantic structure.

  • Text Alternatives for Media: Every meaningful image present in the portfolio (case studies) and other parts of the site contains an accurate alternative text (Alt Text).

  • Structure and Hierarchy: The use of headings (H1, H2, etc.) is done semantically and hierarchically to facilitate orientation within the content.

  • Accessible Banners: Pop-up elements on the site, such as the Cookie Banner and lead forms, are also adapted for keyboard navigation and screen readers, and can be closed easily.

2. Level of Accessibility

The website has been made accessible and adapted for the most common browsers (such as Chrome, Edge, Safari) and has undergone a manual and automated testing process. However, since the site contains advanced design elements and dynamic projects, pages or elements may be discovered that have not yet been fully made accessible or for which the appropriate accessibility technology has not yet been found.

3. Accessibility Inquiries

We continue our efforts to improve the accessibility of the site as part of our commitment to enable simple and comfortable use for the entire population. If you encounter an accessibility issue while browsing, we would be very happy to receive your inquiry and fix what requires improvement.

So that we can handle the issue in the best possible way, please contact us via the contact form on the site, or by sending an organized email, including the following details:

  • A precise description of the problem.

  • The page or element where you encountered the problem.

  • The browser type and operating system (or assistive technology) you used.
